Strings In The Fields

Join us Saturday, August 5th from 7-8:30pm for an evening of Live Classical Music, here at the farm in Somerville, ME!
We’re so excited to share with you our Strings In The Field classical music Concert!
The music for this special farm concert will be provided by two talented area musicians, Katherine Liccardo and Matt Consul, who believe in building community through music.
Katherine and Matt met 9 years ago at Kneisel Hall Summer Chamber Music Festival in the woods of Blue Hill, Maine. They moved from NYC to Maine in June of 2020 and have never looked back! Matt plays viola with the Portland Symphony Orchestra and is a teaching artist in the PSO’s Explorer’s Program. He also coaches chamber music at the Pineland Suzuki School. In addition to being a classical violist, Matt plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and sings; he was recently a semifinalist in Hallowell’s Central Maine Idol Competition. Katherine has a 35-student studio of violin and viola students across Maine, New York, Texas, California, and even Australia. She is a freelance performer, serves on the board of the Maine Suzuki Association, and helps run the concert series Vigorous Tenderness.
