Open Farm Day

Everyone knows farming is hard work, but it’s also LOTS of Fun!

Join us for a memorable day of learning & laughter, fun & food Sunday July 26th from 11am-3pm as we celebrate Maine Open Farm Day 2026 here at Pumpkin Vine Family Farm!

Check out our activities to plan your visit :

Red Stove Farm will be serving lunch, so you can dine under our shady tent or picnic in our beautiful sunny fields: )

Baby Goat Frolic between 12 – 1. Join a mob of this years’ kids as they run, prance, skip and jump on a trip to the back field. Leaves at noon, so get here early if you want to join in the fun. We recommend walking shoes, a hat, and a water bottle!

Farmers’ Market is open from 11 – 3 Fill your market basket with baked goods, meats, veggies, olive oils, goat milk soaps, & of course our goat dairy products!

Farm Tours run from 11 – 3 and include:

 1) fascinating farm history by Kelly, including historic photos and readings from her book Birth, Death and a Tractor

2) personal time with our fabulous goats : ) both kids, milkers, and stinky bucks ; 0

3) cheese samples! Try them all; including our hard cheese!!! 

4) an insider look into our state of the art milking parlor with Anil. Our cascading stand that allows us to milk 12 goats at once and transports the milk via pipeline.
