Local astronomer, Rebecca Spitz of In Focus Astronomy, will have her specialized solar telescope set up at the Farmers Market from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Drop in anytime to observe the Sun and ask your burning questions about Earth’s closest star!

Rebecca shares: “At In Focus Astronomy our goal is to build a mental bridge connecting the scientific discoveries of astrophysics with the natural beauty observed through our telescopes. Our methods of forming this connection make our experiences unique events that will have you begging the question: how am I related to even the most distant objects in our Universe?”
