Like her twin sister Honey, Apricot has been a powerhouse of a goat since birth, and we have high hopes for her. The twins consistently trade places each month as the top milker in their age group. As a one year old, Apricot led the way at 11.7 lbs!
In their second lactation, they’ve been neck and neck at 14 lbs, although Apricot won for persistence, still rocking 10 lbs in the cold month of November! Both the sisters have benefitted from their Tempo genetics, enabling them to maintain their high productivity without losing body condition. Their larger frames also enables them to comfortable support their capacious udders while travelling back and forth to pasture.
