More About Hickory
Hickory is living up to her milk inheritance from her mother Hazel and has improved structurally thanks to her father Sunflash. She is long, tall and angular, a classic dairy goat with excellent back, rump and rear legs. As a 1 year old first freshener, she peaked at 10.8 lbs, with a well balanced udder that is easy to milk. Despite losing her kids a month prematurely in her second lactation, she still came into milk and produced steadily all season. We are looking forward to seeing how she does her third year, with a normal kidding.
