About Lily
Lily is the product of two Sage Farm goats and demonstrates their focus on production. She may be smaller and lighter boned than our other lines, but don’t underestimate that udder! As a first freshener, she milked over a gallon, and she is our only goat that has continued to improve every year. She didn’t peak at 4 years old like many goats; now in her fifth lactation as a six year old, she had her best year ever, milking close to two gallons for half the season, and topping the herd for the first time. Her kids tend to be slightly smaller and have inherited her sweet and gentle nature, making them a good match for homesteaders who want an easy goat to manage.
