Even as a yearling, it is evident that Maple is going to be a big, beautiful doe (this photo doesn’t do her justice!) and was one of the top yearlings in appraisal. She inherited her grandmother Bekka’s big barrel and we’re hoping she’ll follow in her grandmother Hazel’s milky ways. She freshened with twins and almost hit a gallon, before stabilizing around 5 lbs for a long, steady lactation.
